Only problem is I can't think of anything specific! And, I don't even really know what kind of Saiyuki stuff exists (besides what I own), or how easy it is to find Saiyuki stuff over there.

I should be getting a little bit of birthday money - I can put that aside and save it. Do you think you could find anything for $20-$25 (including the shipping from you to me). I don't really want any doujinshi. And I have a lot of Saiyuki pencil boards already. I have the postcard books. The artbooks are too expensive for me. I'd ask for a poster but that would be hard/expensive to ship, probably. I know, I'm not very helpful!

Anything would be fine if it came from Japan, though. I'd be happy with a postcard or a leaf from the ground. Seriously. Or even a leaf off the ground from Australia! It's my dream to visit Australia and New Zealand some day. Probably won't ever happen, but I dream about it.

I have two 'best' friends who got to go to Scotland, England, Ireland, with a few detours in other European countries, and they know how much I want to travel to these places, and they brought me back absolutely nothing. So you offering to pick up something for me is so incredibly sweet.

What about the Gaiden mini manga's, from memory they cost only 648yen each (8AUD) i could snail mail it directly from Japan to you if you wanted and that would save on shipping. Just a thought (bare in mind they are totally in Japanese but they are very beautiful!) ;) If the price of everything goes over 25 ill bare some of the costs ;) i don't know what Id do without you anyway my wonderful beta-er :P

Not to sound stupid, but what exactly are the mini mangas? About how small are they? Sounds cool.

Out of curiosity, how much do you think the regular sized manga cost each?

Ah, I was nosy just now and read through the comments below. I would definitely be interested in the mini mangas, since it's all of them in 2 volumes. Still wondering exactly how big they are (compared to regular manga), since my eyes aren't getting any younger, haha.

Key-chains and button bins are quiet rare i found and are actually expensive for what they are.

The mini mangas are about the size of a normal female hand stretched out, they compressed the 4 books into 2. there are new pictures on the cover and inside of them that the original gaiden didnt have. the price of the actual volumes is closer to 800-900 yen but theres 4 of them so it would be more like $60+ by the time i did postage.
