I just read this;
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com.au/interest/2011-09-23/doraemon-train-to-end-service-in-october-due-to-ad-ban
Its odd that of all places Tokyo is banning large outdoor ads... I mean... what classifies to them as a large outdoor add? Just trains or billboards? Because when i was there, there was nothing but ads as far as the eye could see. On sides of buildings, in the trains, as you walked it was impossible to miss them.
I find it odd they count this poor little doraemon train as an add. Next they will re paint the Studio Ghibli bus :(.
This feels rather backwards to me, what are your thoughts?
